About Greg

Greg Young is the father of three children and author of What to do if the Stork Didn’t Leave Instructions, a book that gives parents insights on how to help their children develop a healthy self-esteem.

He is a former Teacher of the Year, Coach of the Year, Boy Scout leader, and publicly elected School Board member. Greg has presented programs on self-esteem to children from elementary through high school. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and is a successful public speaker, workshop leader, business consultant, and business owner employing 30 full time employees. The most important role he felt he ever had was that of being a father. He brings all of his life experiences to his book, What to do if the Stork Didn’t Leave Instructions, so that other parents can benefit from the knowledge and insights he has gained.

Greg also has enjoyed a successful career in business. He served as Chief Financial Officer to a contracting firm and helped this company grow from annual sales of 2 Million Dollars in 1986, to include five companies with annual sales of over 35 Million Dollars in 2001. In 2002, he resigned his position from this group of companies to devote the time necessary to complete his book and to expand his other business interests.

Since 1985, Greg has provided consulting and training to various organizations (including Fortune 500 companies). He has been a keynote speaker at regional and state conventions. Greg’s expertise is in understanding human behavior and what motivates people. He combines this knowledge with his parenting and business experience to help people develop an action plan. Once they put this action plan into effect, they experience positive results in both their family life and business life. His speeches are informative, lively, humorous and memorable!
